Spend an evening giving back while connecting with others in the community.
Join Canmore Young Adult Network for a volunteer takeover at Canmore Food & Friends, a welcoming community meal that brings people together over delicious food and meaningful connection. Spend the evening giving back alongside other volunteers while helping create a warm, inclusive space for community members to share a meal.
Whether you’re looking to meet new people, give back locally, or learn more about one of Canmore’s longest-running community programs, this is a fun and rewarding way to get involved.
What to expect
Volunteers will be assigned roles based on the event’s needs. You may help with:
- Setting up tables and chairs
- Serving food at the buffet (must be 16+ to serve food)
- Table service
- Dishwashing and kitchen cleanup
- General event support as needed
Experienced Canmore Food & Friends volunteers will be on hand to provide guidance throughout the evening.
You will receive a meal during your shift.
Every volunteer who registers will be entered into a giveaway to win:
- $30 Communitea gift card
- Free CYAN event entry (up to $25)
- Emergency Kit Backpack

Canmore Food & Friends takes place at St. Michael’s Anglican Church in Canmore.
