Our Marketing Strategy

Tourism Canmore Kananaskis (TCK) takes a multi-pronged approach to marketing. Our goal is to increase overnight visitation, especially during the spring, fall, and winter seasons by promoting the destination to high-value(s) visitors. Utilizing our strong partnership with Travel Alberta and maximizing co-op buy-in opportunities across our marketing channels, we can more than double our promotional spending.

Who We Target

TCK targets high-value(s) travellers that stay longer, spend more money in-destination and like to learn and immerse themselves in the communities they travel to. This aligns closely with Travel Alberta’s Ultimate Traveller segment, the Curious Adventurer. Curious Adventurers immerse themselves in the places they travel – leaving time for unplanned encounters and activities that allow them to truly know a destination.
