Join in at the Canmore Nordic Centre for the fourth event in the 5 Peaks Trail Running Series in Central Alberta. The Canmore Nordic Centre was the host venue for the 1988 Winter Olympic nordic and biathlon events, the Canmore Nordic Centre also boasts a world class selection of singletrack trails for trail running and mountain biking enjoyment.

This 5 Peaks Trail Running event offers distances for all ages, abilities, and ambitions.

Kids – 1 km
Kids – 3 km
Sport Run or Hike – 7 km
Enduro Run or Hike – 12.2 km
Grit Run – 19.3 km

Race distances and maps are subject to change based on trail conditions up to the day of the race.

Friday, September 5th

  • 4:00 p.m. – Packet Pick Up – Strides Canmore,
    108-1240 Railway Avenue, Canmore, AB
  • 6:30 p.m. – Packet Pick Up Ends

Saturday, September 6th

  • 8:15 a.m. – Packet Pick Up Begins at the Canmore Nordic Centre
  • 9:00 a.m. – Start of the Grit and Enduro
    Back of the Packers/Hikers (must complete loop one by 12:30 pm)
  • 9:15 a.m. – Start of the 3k Kids Race
  • 9:40 a.m. – Start of the 1k Kids Race – sign up is free and done the morning of the race.
  • 9:45 a.m. – Packet Pick Up Closes
  • 10:00 a.m. – Enduro/Sport – Self Seeded Waves
  • 11:00 a.m. – Post Race Food available in the Expo
  • 12:15 p.m. – Verify Results for Podium
  • 12:30 p.m. – Awards begin
