Upper Kananaskis Lake Trail

In Peter Lougheed Provincial Park you’ll find two crystal-clear mountain lakes along Highway 40 (Kananaskis Trail): the Upper and Lower Kananaskis Lakes. This area is home to many hiking trails, including the Upper Kananaskis Trail. The trail is flat, but long (15.7 km/9.7 mi) and circumnavigates Upper Kananaskis Lake, with spectacular views of both Kananaskis Falls and Sarrail Falls.
