Marten Borch is a singer-songwriter known for his raw authenticity, heartfelt lyrics, and a deep commitment to using music as a tool for connection and change. Influenced by folk, Celtic, swing, and even a touch of EDM, his sound weaves together old-world roots and modern energy. On stage, Borch performs solo – but you’d never guess it. The sheer fullness of his sound, rhythm, and presence often leaves audiences convinced they’re hearing a full band. It’s a “three-in-one” experience that turns every set into something bigger than the sum of its parts.
Every Friday from November through April, Canmore Brewing Company feature local singers, songwriters, and small acoustic bands from 5-7pm. The atmosphere is easygoing and unpretentious – music that blends naturally into the buzz of the taproom, adding warmth and a sense of connection. It’s the perfect way to unwind and welcome the weekend.
And because good times pair best with good beer, enjoy Happy Hour $6 pints from 4–7 pm every Community Friday.
