Explore the jail, office, kitchen and bedrooms, maintained as they appeared when Corporal Charles H. Clarke lived there with his wife, Dora, and their five children. Dovetail-notched logs, mud-and-straw chinking and an open veranda reveal how two Mounties built the barracks.
On weekends in July and August, Stoney cultural interpreters share Stoney Nakoda culture, language and traditions. Summer programs highlight aspects of traditional Stoney life. Outside, a public heritage garden features more than 500 varieties of flowers and traditional vegetable crops.
