Tie-Dye Workshop with CYAN

Join the Canmore Young Adult Network for a hands-on Tie-Dye Workshop where you’ll bring new life to something plain! Bring your own white t-shirt, pants, tote bag, or any item you’d like to transform – we’ll handle the rest. In this workshop, you’ll explore the hot dyeing method – perfect for deep, lasting colour that won’t fade after a few washes!

You’ll learn:

  • How to fold and bind fabric in multiple creative styles
  • The correct way to calculate dye amounts (so you use just what you need – no waste!)
  • The difference between hot and cold dyeing, and why we’re turning up the heat!

Bring your own white or light-colored cotton item (T-shirt, tote, etc.) to transform. We’ll provide all the dye materials and a handmade mini-guide you can take home with all the steps and tips we’ll cover.

No experience needed – come get creative, hang out, and leave with your very own tie-dye masterpiece.
