Sundance Lodges campground, located in the spectacular Rocky Mountains of Kananaskis Country, promises a memorable family adventure. Spend the night in an authentic tipi, comfortable trapper’s tent or unserviced campsite surrounded by pristine wilderness and just steps from the Kananaskis River. The painted tipis and trapper’s tents each have a wood floor, wood frame beds with comfortable mattresses, a small kerosene heater, a lantern, and a picnic table and firepit outside. Sundance offers friendly staff, hot showers, washrooms, a coin laundry and sports equipment rentals. The onsite Trading Post sells basic groceries, firewood, propane, gift ware and souvenirs. Exciting outdoor activities are available nearby. Photography enthusiasts will be amazed at the breathtaking landscapes and opportunities for viewing wildlife. In the evening, relax by your campfire, roast some marshmallows and view the stars. Open from mid-May to mid-September annually.
