The workshop will kick off with an informative 90-minute orientation session (May 22nd at 4 p.m.) where you’ll learn how to maintain a sourdough starter, prepare a leaven and learn the first steps of preparing the dough. Additionally, you will get information on the fundamentals of sourdough and talk about equipment and flour.
Wednesday, May 26th, a starter, and flour kit will be delivered to your home (Canmore/Banff and area only). This kit will contain only sufficient flour for the workshop and the starter.
Saturday, May 29th, you’ll mix your dough in the morning following instructions and demos from the Farine website. At noon, Lilliane will join you and take you through to the end of the process and answer any questions from participants.
