Join the Town of Canmore on June 15 in the Civic Centre plaza from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. for the celebration of National Indigenous History Month. Experience and learn about the unique cultures, traditions, and experiences of Indigenous communities through a day filled with drumming, dancing, and an Indigenous market.

Here is what you can look forward to:

Indigenous Market (10 a.m. – 4 p.m.): Explore a diverse range of handcrafted goods, art, and products made by Indigenous artisans.

Drumming and Dancing (12 – 2 p.m.): Feel the rhythm and energy of Indigenous drumming and dance performances.

Free creative craft kits available for pickup inside the Civic Centre

Indigenous book sales available for purchase inside the Civic Centre

Indigenous Story Walk in Rotary Friendship Park

All are welcome to attend this event. National Indigenous History Month is a time for learning, celebration, and coming together in the spirit of unity and respect.
