Canmore Heritage Dinner – That’s Italian!

Che Gusto! Get your Italian on! While there are all sorts of people drawn to Canmore, in both the past and present, they’ll celebrate their heritage by sharing the interesting stories and characters brought to the Bow Valley by Italian immigration. Enjoy a brief talk about the Italian legacy in Alberta by Dr. Adriana Davies, great Italian food, and your favourite Italian music from the duo Fromage Chaud. È Italiano! Ticket holders will receive a $10 tax receipt. By making a donation through your ticket, you will help raise funds to help support the preservation and promotion of Canmore’s heritage. Fromage Chaud is Linda Kitchin and Darcy North. They are talented musicians playing music from all over the world. Linda plays mandolin and fiddle, and Darcy plays accordion. When performances require singing in French, Italian, or German, they call on Lisa Pie who is a trained opera singer with a mesmerizing voice.
